In the 1960s, Niki de Saint Phalle, also known as the "Terrorist of Art", was the only internationally successful female artist in the world. She became famous with her Nana sculptures, as the artist who shot at paintings with knives and guns. Her life story, however, is full of abysses that run through her creative work. Art becomes her weapon - poetic, creative and unerring. With it she hit the boundaries of the established art world.
