Every morning, Samia races with her best friend - and she always wins. The nine-year-old wants to take part in Mogadishu's annual city run. While her father supports her, her mother holds her back. Women are not allowed to take part in sport and there is a high risk of running into the arms of a patrol. But Samia continues to train in secret and crosses the finish line first in front of all the adults at the city run. Suddenly the stars seem within her grasp: the Olympic Games too.
