In 2214, New York City is a futuristic sight: The skyscrapers are taller than ever before and traffic is now carried by flying cars. In the midst of this urban juggernaut, former elite soldier Korben Dallas works as a cab driver. Out of the blue, Leeloo falls into his lap. It soon transpires that she is a higher being - sent to Earth to put a stop to the evil that is approaching from the depths of space.
