The FIRST STEPS Awards will be presented at the Theater des Westens on 30.09.2024. Beforehand we will present an exclusive selection of the nominated films in the presence of the nominated filmmakers. FIRST STEPS is regarded as the most prestigious prize for university graduates in the German-speaking world. It was founded in 2000 by Nico Hoffmann and Bernd Eichinger. As part of Die lange Nacht des jungen Films, six diverse films will be shown in three film programs, including animations, documentaries and feature films.
