In Burlington, Canada, in 2003: Lawrence dreams of attending film school at New York University. In order to pay the high tuition fees, he finds a job at the local video store “Sequels”. Out of sheer eagerness, he increasingly starts to mess things up - even in front of his best friend Matt and his single mother Terri. As graduation approaches, it's time for Lawrence to question himself and what really matters.
