Talia is European. She lives in Belgium, speaks the language and is an integral part of society. Her roots are in Senegal, a place she has never visited herself. A trip to Dakar is supposed to bring her closer to the country of her ancestors, but all she finds is an empty villa that belongs to her family. With no direction, Talia wanders through a foreign homeland until she meets Malika, a mysterious flying bird trader.
