Former Foreign Legionnaire Julien murders the husband of his lover Florence in his office and makes the crime look like suicide. When he remembers that he has forgotten something, he wants to go back, but gets stuck in the building's elevator because the power is cut off for the night. While he tries to free himself, the desperate Florence runs through the streets of Paris in search of her lover.
