Still today, it’s difficult to find narratives about sex workers that aren’t in some way moralizing or negative. Harder still is to find positive portrayals or even something with a happy ending! This cinematic fairy tale follows a young woman, Adèle, as she embarks on a journey of self-discovery and sexual liberation within the confines of an enigmatic cabaret.
